Odyssey Introduction

Lore-aligned Character Creation

(as told by Azura, Queen of Dawn and Dusk)

They have taken him from the Imperial City's prison. First by carriage and now by boat. To the East. To Morrowind.

Many fall, but one remains. Could he be the true Nerevar? I am watchful and remain hopeful.

I, Azura, Goddess of Dusk and Dawn, prophesied Nerevar's reincarnation 3,543 years ago. Many False Nerevars have unknowingly come to pass since then. Each uniquely brave but all equally dead. Although I am powerful, I cannot direct fate. The inevitable defeat of the treacherous Tribunal demigods will occur. But, by whose hands and when, I cannot say. Such is the way of Mundus, this Universe.

This is one story of the many Nerevarine Prophecy threads: His name is Do'hur Raihir.

Khajiit hold a special place in my heart. When I bound their morphology to Jone and Jode, Nirn's Moons, I didn't expect such beauty. I would enjoy nothing more than to see one of my loving offspring fulfill the Nerevarine Prophecy. Time will soon tell.

Part I

Level I = Difficulty 10

(as told by Do'hur Raihir in Parts I - X)

My name is Do'hur Raihir and I was once a noble warrior to the sacred city of Torval in Elsweyr. A rewarding life of honor and virtue. No longer.

Do'hur knows nothing of the island of Vvardenfell in Morrowind. Although The Empire executed the formalities of my capture, many hands were involved that led me here. Some known but most unknown.

In my dreams, I've been told that I've been chosen and not to fear. A simple task when there is nothing left to lose. Do'hur doesn't question the Gods.

Do'hur disapproves of this new life but shall recreate himself once again. Embracing this blinding hatred is the only Path forward.

Part II

Level 2 = Difficulty 20

Do'hur continues to be drawn East. Away from shimmering waters and towering fungi. Such homely sights would be beautiful to me in different times.

The winds from the Molag Amur volcanic foothills whisper of stone architectures piercing storm-filled skies. Do'hur has determined the settlement of Molag Mar to not be hostile albeit overpopulated. There are other sanctuaries to be conquered and Do'hur must delve beyond these modern confines.

This is only a taste of the wonderful bleakness of these lands and Do'hur yearns for more. There is power in this darkness somewhere and Do'hur aims to harness it. Looking north towards the ashen void, Do'hur's Path is becoming clear.

Part III

Level 3 = Difficulty 30

The settlement of Molag Mar stands tall between the valleys yet offers no opportunity. Unexpectedly, pilgrims rest in these stone canton halls in preparation to ascend nearby holy mountains.

Do'hur anticipated finding comradery at this isolated frontier. Instead, only a conglomerate of meager souls feeding on a confusing religion. There is one kindred un-enslaved Khajiit that Do'hur cannot not help but gaze upon in awe. Vanjirra, her dark eyes set within bright, sun-drenched fur framed by emerald earrings.

Alas, she is not on Do'hur's Path. Such is my interaction with this world. It is time to return to the darkness of Molag Amur.

Part IV

Level 4 = Difficulty 40

Show Do'hur the heights of the mountain spires and the dusted gales will be faced with conviction.

Show Do'hur the depths of the mountain ravines and the escarpment canopies will be my humble abode.

To roam alone is to know solitude.

The beginnings of Do'hur's Territory is taking form. Through relentless wanderment, Do'hur has expunged mages from ancient towers and ghosts from decaying tombs. Do'hur has learned well from these trials but many foes still await my scourge.

None shall stand in Dohur's Path.

Part V

Level 5 = Difficulty 50

Do'hur grows ever stronger.

My old life in Elsweyr was one of a Khajiit wielding profound yet very different strength. Then, Do'hur was grounded in a genuine devotion to the community's protection. Alongside friends and family, we worshiped the Spirits and followed the Mane. Those joyous times ended with the Slaughter of Torval marking the beginning of the 5 Years War.

Now, my strength is instead forged in primal instincts devoid of morality.

Part VI

Level 6 = Difficulty 60

With rising strength comes increased ambition. But, after fleeing the deep darknesses of Dwemer and Daedric ruins, Do'hur is realizing that there is still much to learn about the secrets of Molag Amur.

To be strong is to embrace a growth mindset. Compromise is not an option. It shall be done.

Part VII

Level 7 = Difficulty 70

Do'hur Raihur is the Scourge of Molag Amur. Those left alive will spread fear of Do'hur's return.

Ulath-Pal, the sole surviving warrior of the Erebenisum Dunmer, stirred faint memories of duty and honor from Do'hur's old life. Those are but distant values never to be felt again.

What truly separates Do'hur from the mighty jaguar? Greed.

Like an overindulging human, Do'hur is no better and won't be satisfied until the end of the Path is reached.
